About this app

Minimalist Qr code and Bar code scanner is designed with a simple one-button user interface.
Support any type of QR code or Bar code format, including;
* vCard Qr codes-
Contacts are automatically saved to contacts on the device with the user authentication.
* Wi-Fi networks-
Wi-Fi network details are automatically identified and interpreted in a user-friendly format. No automatic direction to connect network, lets you decide your security and join or save for later.
* Bar codes-
Product serial numbers are identified and could search on the web for a product with the user's preference.
* Web site URL-
Identify web URLs and allow users to decide either to visit or save for later.
* StaySafe QR Sri Lanka
This app supports scanning Sri Lankan Stay safe QR codes. Get into know about Sri Lankan government Stay safe program, visit https://staysafe.gov.lk/
* Any other information-
Any information in the code is made available to the user as text. Allow manual identification of details that are not in a standard format.

Save power in continuous scanning processes. Complications to use in places where no cameras allowed.

Allow users to manually enter the network details by copy-paste. Reduce security risk of unintentional joining to unknown networks, especially for children and elders.

Prevent accidental entry to unwanted websites in QR codes. The web address is shown and asked for user authentication to proceed.

App Permissions

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
