This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Call Recorder PRO on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. It worked well on my Samsung galaxy s6 but does not work at all on my new S9...why?

The best was total call recorder. I have new sprint nexus and selecting mic feature works. The call quality is not the best but it will do. Also you have every opportunity to be total call by start recording about 5 seconds into call, and try your best to up the volume alittle. . Other then that this is the only one tha works decent. Oh and when i replay call for it to have option to come through headset or speaker! PS IT really isn't worth it......I can hardly hear what the other person is saying.

There is one important thing missing here: THE OPTION TO ENABLE OR DISABLE THIS APP. No matter what you do, the only way to stop this app from recording is by uninstalling it. This is not acceptable. Why is it so hard to add a button to turn on or off? Otherwise, this app is the best I've tried (second best - from the perspective of YES IT RECORDS and it sounds good - is "Call recorder Pro" by Clever Mobile. They did add a turn on and off button!!!). PLEASE ADD THE OPTION TO ENABLE OR DISABLE RECORDING. When you do, I will definitively give you 5 stars.

Works nicely with original rooted galaxy s2. The problem with bluetooth echo+feedback is mostly solved now thanks to a workaround option to disable recording if a headset is connected. The file naming convention of recorded calls is not great, and can't be changed. Would be good if file names were YYYYMMDD-HHMM-I/O-NUMBER-SecondsDuration... with bonus stars for average signal strength during call!

I had installed the paid version of this software. But I see only recording of outgoing calls. Wonder is that once u pay the service provider will not be in touch with us.Tried all the settings voice up link etc. Nothing worked out. Is any one can help me?

Had few scares with this application after I updated phone software but was all good after a bit of tweaking. I have used this application for few years and have tried others. It is by far the best for its function and what you pay. You can't blame the developers just because it doesn't work on your mobile or immediately after an update. Thanks guys for a job well done. Cheers

Working on devices that have been updated to Android 4.0 (ICS, Ice Cream Sandwich), Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) or higher.
To do this go to Settings -> Recording Mode and change to "Voice Uplink".

This update is only available for ROOTED devices, from users that restored the capacity for call recording after the upgrade to the ICS or higher.
