I use this app in my other phone, not on this. I have recently started using his app but now will be using it forever but I still can't believe that there can be an app like this exist. This man is from 31st century. Don't know how he landed here in 21st century. Please please please please pleeeeeeeeeeease keep this app active till your last breath as I know that I can never ever find any alternative to this. No one in this world is that intelligent who can make even 10 percent of this.

Changed my rating from 1-->4.. Not 5 because it was unavailable at a time I needed it the most..and apology for such a bad review earlier..but I have seen this app doing wonders..and I really needed it that time.. Although now I realize that it takes much of your effort..and it should be appreciated anyhow..so thanks a lot for such an amazing app..! (Y) I loved it.. The best privacy app ever.. !!

While there are many benefits to a rooted phone, this is the most important for me. Many apps I want to use require excessive permissions I don't want to allow; with X Privacy apps still work but I control what info they get/don't get access to. This alone is a great reason to root

Marcel is a man on a mission to help others stay safe on Android. This app is a prefect eleven! Do you know who's collecting your data whether you like it or not? With XPrivacy no one can, you're in complete control. Please keep in mind this is no easy task for any Dev. It takes a LOT of time and effort to make this kind of granular control function on any device, let alone so many devices. Not to mention the implementation of new to Android ART & SELinux that completely changed the way apps are aloud play.

Sure it can be dangerous. It can soft brick your device. But you can't hobble the app because it's needs experience. Also needs all permissions block able/spoofable to be truly effective

XPrivacy can prevent applications from leaking privacy sensitive data by restricting the categories of data an application can access. XPrivacy feeds applications fake data or no data at all. It can restrict several data categories, such as contacts or location. For example, if you restrict an application's access to contacts, that application will receive an empty contacts list. Similarly, restricting an application's access to your location will send a fake location to that application.

XPrivacy doesn't revoke or block permissions from an application, so most applications will continue to work as before and won't force close (crash).
