I have to start off by saying that the app is indeed great. Extremely handy to take full control of your PS3 (I have a phatboy). Works with stock release of Android, but will NOT work with custom roms. Because custom roms are not endorsed or supported by Google, it should not be a negative against the app. The issue is only that support is poor altogether from the developer's end. That is why the 3 stars. Support is a must in this day and age if you are charging for a product or service.

Would like to use it, it would be great if you could fix it. It used to work great. Now it takes a long time to start. When it finally does, I get warning that it requires root privileges. It does not seem to request them properly, though. Next it reports that Bluetooth stack is unsupported, and suggests Cyanogen. If this is true, application description should note this issue.

It appears that the developer has stopped development for this app. If I understand correctly, Google incorporated a different Bluetooth driver in the latest versions of Android which requires a complete redesign of this application. The app worked very well on my older phone but I haven't been able to get it running on anything running jelly bean 4.2. Also, I'm disappointed that it never got the PS button for the sixaxis mode. That's a requirement for the PS3 as far as I'm concerned.

This app has served a great purpose from preventing me from having to use a PS3 controller for netflix. However triangle and square don't work at all. I recently can't get x or circle to work. There is. No support for the PS3 button or even the L or R buttons. Needs improvement. I think ill get a refund and go back to free.

Keyboard works on my PS3 but when I go into the amazon video app the dpad works but not the X, triangle, square or circle. Not sure what the issue of could be but I bought this app so I could watch videos without needing a controller. Disappointed.

About this app

*** Root required ***

This application will allow to use your device as a remote mouse and keyboard for your PC/PS3.
Since low level apis are used, there is no way by now to ensure 100% compatibility with all devices (because of different bluetooth implementations of some vendors): if the log says "invalid or inactive bluetooth device" your only option is to try a different ROM like Cyanogenmod (if available).

Look at the video tutorials for more info:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mU2Gwv3YmzA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQiCy46KCTE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfF6Qp1CUQU

Quick tutorial:
- Open the application and click on the start button (top/left button ">")
- Check for errors in the log window
- IMPORTANT: if you got the error "invalid or inactive bluetooth device", your device is not supported and your only option is to try a different ROM like Cyanogenmod (I cannot fix that because the problem is at "kernel" level).
- Pair your device with an host of your choice*
- Once paired, click on the lens button (secondo top/left) to refresh the available bluetooth devices
- Click on a device of your choice to establish a connection
- Once connected a green screen should appear
- Single press to simulate the left mouse button (the background should change in blue)
- Double press to simulate the right mouse button (the background should change in red)
- Hit "menu" to show/hide/change the keyboard

*Tested hosts:
- PS3: works
- Linux: works (tested on Ubuntu 10.10)
- Windows 7: not working yet
- MAC: ? (not tested)
- Vizio Internet TV: works

NOTE: please try before the free version to check the compatibility with your device! Once stable, this version will be upgraded without any other cost.
