Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MIDIMACRO on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

Works great for Midi Input on Tricaster to trigger macros using TouchOSC bridge! -Dev, any chance you could make an option to show only buttons and no sliders?

MIDIMACRO turns your Windows mixer into a magical programmable mixer.
You can change the volume of each channel in the Windows mixer (with the MIDIMACRO Windows App)

Supported Connection Types:
* TouchOSC Bridge (http://hexler.net/software/touchosc#downloads)
* Midi over USB (Android 6.0 and above & device is capable of doing this)
* Midi over the MIDIMACRO Server (integrated in the MIDIMACRO Windows App)

Everything can be used in your private network. No connection to the outside world ;)

Control MIDIMACRO from every app with the MIDIMACRO-Overlay
(Settings -> Start Floating Widget) Draw Over Other Apps needs to be enabled.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
