Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing uTracer 3+ on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

UPDATE: The new version of the app is awesome! It now supports high currents, and has some nice improvements to the interface. Where it used to crash on over currents, now it says "compliance error" instead. I did the same test in the uT GUI, and the GUI crashed. I think this app is winning for quick tests! :) OLD REVIEW: Very nice app! However, it needs to be updated for high current versions of the uTracer.

About this app

With the uTracer 3+ app, you can test your tubes with your Android device! You connect to your uTracer via Bluetooth RS232 interface and after you are connected you can perform a quick test. The uTracer app supports both uTracer 3 and the uTracer 3+ created by Ronald Dekker (http://dos4ever.com/uTracer3/uTracer3_pag0.html).
