About this app

Molarity Chemistry Calculations is a useful tool for science students, lab technicians, chemists, biologists, and anyone who needs to do the following: to prepare chemical solutions, to calculate the amount of substances or to know the molar mass and chemical formulae. There is no need to know equations to use Molarity.

The best feature of the app is its ability to generate chemical formulae and calculate molar mass or the amount of substances from chemical names (e.g. acetic acid, oxalic acid, oxalic acid dihydrate, glucose, morphine etc. in various languages but preferably in English). You can use more than 100 000 chemical names.

Features:

1. Calculates concentration, mass of compound, molecular weight ,amount of substances and volume from known values. There's an option to select various units.

2. Calculates mass of compound, volume ,density, mass of solutions and mass fraction from known values. There's also an option to select various units.

3. Uses formulae to calculate molar mass. Generated molar mass can be used for concentration calculations. Examples of formulae : Na2SO4, K3[Fe(CN)]6, CH3COCH3. If parenthesis is not in the formulae, you can try to use lower case letters e.g. nacl, ch3coch3.

4. Uses names to get molar mass and formulae. Generated molar mass can be used for concentration calculations. This feature needs an internet connection. Examples of names: glucose, sodium sulfate, sodium sulfate dekahydrate, morphine, morphine hydrochloride.

Notes:

To change units in concentration and mass calculation screens, simply press the button on the left that says unit, which you can change many times to get the desired unit.

In case if you need to delete values, press the button with the name (e.g. volume) on the left and the value next to it will be deleted.
