This release adds the option to enable the Pro features.

This fantastic App provides Metal Detectorists and Gold Prospectors in Western Australia with real time positional information using their smart phone or tablet device Android (IOS Version also available) to show their current position on a map with the ability to overlay the Western Australian DMIRS (DMP) Tenement data so the user knows if they are on a live or pending tenement. This makes the user’s smartphone or tablet a powerful tool to know exactly where they are on the ground in relation to Mining, Prospecting or Exploration tenements, giving the user the confidence to know that they are prospecting legally.

The Happy Prospector App was inspired by the need for Prospectors and in particular Metal Detectorists in Western Australia to be able to easily know where they are on the ground in relation to current Mining Tenement Data.

It has been developed to provide Prospectors and Metal Detectorists in Western Australia with a mobile device based App that provides, Real-time position information against Tenement Data that functions with or without internet while still being easy to use. You do NOT require the internet to use the App in the field, but Tenement Data file updates require Internet access.

Users do not need to understand file systems or formats to use the App, as all data updates are performed simply by selecting a Data Update option.

Likewise viewing the latest downloaded Tenement data is as simple as selecting "Display Map" and "Show Tenements"

The App essentially only has Two Menu Options, and one Sub-menu.

Once purchased the user can simply purchase the Profeatures if required.

The Display Map Sub-menu allows users to select various map options. The options are the same for both Online and Offline use;

Colour Coded - Pink/Red isLive and Light Blue is Pending
Pop up also provides status for Standard Version
Pro Version Popup provides Tenement ID # and Holder Name

Pending Tenements are shaded light Blue and live Tenements are shaded Red.
• If an area is covered by both a Live and Pending Tenement it will be a slightly darker colour than the standard Live Tenement colour in these instances the Live Tenement rules for access apply, areas of Dark Blue may be Live or Pending so ALWAYS check.
• The Penalties for prospecting illegally are substantial.
• Prospectors require written permission from the Lease Holder prior to prospecting on Live Leases.
• It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that they are prospecting legally.

There is a dynamic distance scale on the Display Map screens to provide an approximate distance reference for the displayed area.

Whilst every care has been taken in developing the App, it remains the user’s responsibility to ensure they update the data on a regular basis. Internet coverage is only required to update data.

The App positional information should be as accurate as the device GPS position allows, however users should not rely on this App as a sole means of navigation. You will need to enable permissions for Location and Storage.

Designed to be easy to use and easy to keep the data updated, all you need is an Android Phone or Tablet, or an IOS device
