App takes too long to load when the primary purpose is contact tracing. Should be split into a separate app that has the contract tracing and the rest of the junk that most users don't need. It feels like ads. I like that you can store multiple people and check them in or not, and the defaults are good.

WARNING! CHECK WHETHER YOU HAVE CHECKED INTO THE RIGHT PLACE. When using a phone camera outside of the app, which scans a QR code and connects it to the app, many times it has come up with the last place I checked in and not the current venue. I have mistakenly checked in to the wrong place many times, and had to go back and check in to the correct place. This could be detrimental if someone with covid checked into the wrong place mistakenly.

In general I prefer locations to use this app, but it has been failing to remember my details. Additionally it doesn't remember that I've checked-in, so I can't show the screen as proof after answering the "thumbs-up/down" question. I've noticed that other people's phones don't follow the same path in the UI as mine - a different success screen is shown. So I'm wondering if it has even checked me in correctly at all. I've logged an issue direct with Services Victoria via their website. This is an excellent app on my wife's phone, it just doesn't work for me (and other reviewers here). Slowness of scanning was resolved by ignoring the frame guide on the camera - scan from much further away catches it very very quickly.

Note to Developers: Can we please have a button that let's us view 1-28 days of our check-in history or perhaps by a specific date? I don't want to rely solely on the Gov. to contact me (sometimes days later) about a hotspot location. It would be useful for us to review our own check-in history as a 'cross reference' to any published hot spot locations. I don't see any privacy issues: it's my data that I have submitted anyway..? Thank you.

Downloaded the latest update. It still doesn't remember my details for next time no matter how often I tick that little box. I check in everywhere I go and having to type my details in every time makes it much less streamlined than it needs to be. I do check in every time - but I can see how many would start to skip doing it! This needs to be fixed!

This app is useless. When scanning a QR code via camera and clicking the link it takes me to a page to download the app (which I already have installed). When opening the app and trying to use the in app QR reader nothing happens. Absolute rubbish when you've had over 14 months to produce something better. Edit: I uninstalled and reinstalled the app as directed. I'm still unable to simply use my phone's camera to check into locations, but need to open the service Vic app, click check in and use the in app QR scanner. Very delayed in actually registering you're holding it up to a QR code though.
