Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SBBIS Inspect on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If you’re a building inspector who works with the NSW Strata Building Bond & Inspections Scheme, the ‘SBBIS Inspect’ app will make your job easier.

‘SBBIS Inspect’ allows you to quickly log defects and add photos or video evidence to reports in real time during onsite inspections.

The offline capability means you can use the app in areas without internet service. Any onsite observations and detailed notes can be seamlessly uploaded to your desktop inspection report. ‘SBBIS Inspect’ can only be used by building inspectors who are registered users of the NSW Strata Hub.

Developed by the NSW Government – this free app supports building inspectors with the critical task of identifying early defective building work in new strata developments to better protect buyers of new apartments in NSW.
