I love simple, clear UI's! Thank you!!! Some suggestions (if you're so inclined and feeling generous) 1. Add fields for +/- stadia. Include a one time field for the tool multiplier (perhaps in the "job" page?). This would allow distance to be calculated along with the reduced level. 2. Add a field for bearing. I only enter this once when I setup a new tripod position, take a back sight (set to 0°), and rotate to the new line of sight (i.e., x°) and then just assume the same bearing for all intermediate measurements until I enter a new value. For example, I enter a new bearing when I alter the line of sight without changing the tripod location. Of course, the 0° reference direction remains the same as previously established until the tripod position changes. If you would like to discuss in greater detail, you can reach me at India Victor Sierra Mike 2005 at gmail dot com. Many thanks and kind regards,

Simple to use and I like the csv format to quickly look at in excel. I love that I can turn the phone or tablet to landscape view and see the reduced level book without having to export / open the csv to get the reduced elevations. (Updated review based on discovery of previous wishlist function).

About this app

SurveyorDroid is an application for Civil Engineers and Surveyors that replaces a conventional Level Book. It provides users the ability to quickly enter site levels and automatically calculates rise/fall and reduced level, no more need for pen and paper!
SurveyorDroid also has the following features:
-Level books can be saved and sent via email as an excel file for review or accessed from a computer.
-Latitude and Longitude can be recorded for each reading.
-Data validation e.g. a backsight can't be entered until a foresight is first entered.
-Table view of rise/fall and reduced level, simply orientate your device to landscape. Details can also be entered in this view.
-Misclosure for closed loop levelling.

This application requires the following permissions:
-File storage in order to save and open stored level books.
-Precise GPS location to record Latitude and Longitude (turn GPS off if this is not required).
-Internet access to send level books.
