If you know what this is, you need it. That said, this is the first of a suite of recently updated apps: This for the Tormek, then one for Vadim's vertical base, and finally one for paper wheels. You do not need all three if they are not part of your workflow. If you own a Tormek machine, this is all you need, though I would advise you to look at the extraordinary information on Vadim's website as well. Again, the other apps are not necessary if you only own a Tormek.

Great way to accurately set the grinding angle on both models SG2000 & T8 in one app for knife sharpening. Easier than the factory jig to reproduce a known angle.
