Smart meter stops talking to aurora so here i am thinking I'm travelling sweet when Infact. ALL of my app data is null and void because its been estimated daily for the last 4 months. No warning no info to say otherwise. Apparently its booked in to be fixed. 4 months later ? Even the monthly paper bill was estimated . If i am infact owing I will challenge it.

The marketing doesn't at all make it clear that this is a PAYG system and that you can't continue to receive quarterly bills. The App itself is clunky and has no option to set up a recurring payment and the usage data doesn't come through until well into the next day.

Aurora shuts down the old system for customers that worked perfectly... With no warning. Now, this app is basically a scam in my opinion, 12 month contract and ends up costing more money. Now I can't view my bill online and have to wait for the bill to arrive in the mail... OR, I can wait 3 bloody weeks for the bill to be emailed. Can't wait to change provider

Great app, have been able to manage my power usage and reduce my bills. You do need a smart meter installed, which aurora arrange for no charge

Poor, it is advertised or sold as a great way to control your power usage and charges, but be warned once you sign up you are stuck with it for 12 months weather it costs you double of your old bill or not. There is no going back and they are very unhelpful to rectify the situation. Just a gimmick to squeeze more out of you. It's just a pity this is the only choice we have, pethitic money hungry company

Easy to use. Showes me my day to day usage, how much I owe, peak and off peak times so I can turn stuff off when it's more expensive, and the pay function is fast and uncomplicated.
