This widget allows you to put several of them on the same screen and each only take up the space of an icon. It does exactly what I need without a lot of extra fluff. The bonus is that there are zero ads as well.

Seems to work ok but it's over basic. There is no way to enter a title or size beyond 1x1. will work ok if only counting down 1 date.
