Very useful but not the best. Why does the qrcode pop up on the lap top every time I exit the app on the phone? I have to walk to the laptop to close it. Kills its own usefullness.

I would love to give it a perfect score, but it is much too sesitive (Linux Mint 17). A sensitivity setting would be highly useful

About this app

Download the PC software from http://daniel-baumann.at/RemoteControlServer.jar and telecontrol your PC!

Remote Control allows you to use your device as wireless PC-mouse and keyboard.

Features
• Use as mouse
→ Like a touch pad
→ Like a pointer stick
→ With the accelerometer
• Use as keyboard
• Use as Media control
→ Change the volume (Linux only)
• Configuration by QR-Code
• Discover server via network

Requirements
As most android devices are not able to act as BlueTooth HID device the app needs a network connection to the target PC where the Remote Control Server is running.
The app allows you to save the Server application on the SD-Card. Simply copy it to the target PC (or download it from http://www.daniel-baumann.at/RemoteControlServer.jar) and execute it as Java application.

I will continue developing this tool and I am deeply grateful for your feedback and feature requests.

Security
• Encrypted communication to the PC
• The app requests as less permissions as possible

Permissions needed
• Internet: for connection to the PC you want to control
• Read/write on SD-Card: for downloading the Server App onto the SD-Card
