Does not work anymore. Now requires Face ID or a numeric PIN for the smartphone unlock screen, otherwise this app will refuse to work. This alone makes the app unusable for me, as it is none of A-Trust's business, how I choose to log into my smartphone. What if I use a custom OS that provides some other login process, A-Trust doesn't even know about? Ridiculous. I still tried to set the app up, but it always fails generating security keys anyway.Well, I guess I'm locked out of all services now.

Stopped working all of a sudden. Binding didn't work. Lost hours with resetting, rebooting, reinstalling. No useful notifications, no useful instructions. Finally succeeded by performing the less plausible random combination of steps. Wouldn't matter if it was a gaming app, but in this particular case....?

previously the app worked fine, however now, the activation "binding" does not work anymore since it only detects face and PIN unlock (no fingerprint!). Even then, the App is not able to work with either of them since it cant bind with the above options which makes 100% unusable

After the latest update, the app is not usable for people who are not able/willing to give their biometric data to 3rd party companies. You cannot use any functions without biometric data. It is also not compatible with more complex locks on smartphones.

I refuse to use biometric data or a pincode to unlock my phone. Why is a swipe lock not good enough? The fact that this app does not allow me to access my whole phone on my terms is ridiculously intrusive. I cannot login into anything now. To call this frustrating is an understatement.

I hate to leave a lone-star review, but as most people have said, this app is awful. Over-engineered, over-complicated. The only thing it's meant to do is verification, and it can't even do that. It's incredibly slow, even on a fast phone. And when you do finally get the app to work (and this might be multiple attempts and about 20 minutes), the corresponding web pages rarely work. I am now stuck in an infinite loop of entering my (correct!) social insurance number and tax number trying to link my Handy-Bürgerkarte to my Finanzamtonline (HOW ARE THEY NOT AUTOMATICALLY LINKED ANYWAY???). A-Trust, if you're reading this, find someone else to design you the app. There are so many apps out there which are even more secure but actually work - and they work instantly, every time. Find the people who made the Revolut app and hire them instead. If anything is unclear, feel free to contact me (after all, you have all of my data...)
