Battery status in status bar not updating anymore after my Nexus 7 tablet was updated to Android 4.4 KitKat. Makes the app pretty irrelevant. Previously was excellent app, so that stops me giving 1 star. (Also not preserving choice of theme.)

When I plugged in the AC it immediately said "Charging since: 0h 30min". =\ Samsung Gio.

Indicates usage in 1% (one) increments. Also on 4g LTE phone, app DOUBLES battery drain if you use Circle Widget. No need for 2 battery apps. Uninstalled on my Droid RAZR M

This app has worked great on every smart phone I've had. I just installed it on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus , running JB 4.2. It's simply awesome, (and free) I would pay $2 for this

Only had this installed for about a week, but works good so far. I will report again in a month or two if there are any problems.

About this app

Smart Battery Monitor is a free Android application that displays the battery details. It shows the battery status expressed as a percentage on the status bar (optional).
The application can also be customized with additional themes. Themes will be distributed as additional Android applications on the Android market.

The Smart Battery Monitor has been rewarded by Android magazine with 4 out of 5 stars!

NOTICE: As far as I know Motorola devices only support battery level changes in 10% steps. This is not a bug in the Smart Battery Monitor app. It is a system limitation of the manufacturer.

FEATURES:
- Language support (English, German)
- Status bar icon for battery level indication (can be disabled)
- Customizable icons
- Battery temperature if supported from the phone in Celsius or Fahrenheit

New features

- BUGFIX: Theme items were not shown in the preferences menu on Android 4.0 ICS.
