Extract Text from images or by using your camera.
Extract text from images captured directly from your camera.
Pull out text from anything on your Screen, even if you are not able to copy it directly, like a Whatsapp "Status" Message.
Open an image from your device's storage or Gallery and pull out the text in it.


Introducing Insight Edge
Insight Edge is a Floating Widget that which enables you to crop a portion of your screen containing text and extract text from there with the swipe of your finger. You can enable it in Settings.

Insight-Edge Modes:
You need to select a mode from the drop-down list in Settings to enable Insight-Edge. These modes are used to capture the screen

* Auto Detect: Automatically detects the appropriate screen capture mode for your device

* No Root: Captures the screen using the built-in Screen Cast function. Note that this feature is not compatible with all devices.

* Root: Captures the screen using Root Privileges. (Recommended)

* Compatible: Monitors for newly captured Screenshots in your device, pulls out Insight-Edge automatically when you capture a Screenshot. Use it if you are experiencing problems with "No Root" mode and your device isn't Rooted

NB: If the Mode is set to "Compatible", you can't reveal the Insight Edge with the swipe of your finger. Instead when ever you take a Screenshot Manually, Insight Edge will automatically reveal from the right side



Note: This application might not detect text from images with certain type of handwritten text. Some handwritten text is detected!




PERMISSIONS:

* Foreground Service: This permission is required for the Insight Edge to run properly on Android 9.0+ Devices

* Draw-over other Apps: This permission is used to show Insight Edge on top of other Applications

* Storage Permissions: This permissions is used to monitor Screenshots if you are using "Manual" Screenshot Mode in Settings

* Root Access: This permission is used to capture screen using Root Privileges, if your device is rooted & have enabled "Root" Screenshot Mode

App Permissions
