Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing AR Model Viewer on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

The effect of light coming out of the marker is buggy and a weird discoloration to the rest of the image. It would be nice to be able to disable it. Also it isn't fully clear which markers specifically work. It worked on the 14th marker I tried. There isn't an option to capture video but that's beside the point. Great concept app

About this app

This application can track AR markers using camera and render models above it.

How to use:

You must have AR marker (Any marker is suitable). Open it on any device screen or print it.
Marker generator: http://terpconnect.umd.edu/~jwelsh12/enes100/markergen.html

How to use:
1) Choose your .obj file or use default model.
2) Make the whole marker be in camera vision (don't bring your phone too close or far away)

This is early alpha version and it may contain some issues.

Uses OpenCV and modified ARuco libraries.
