You should provide custom time settings to control the connections. For example, on between 12 - 1pm , off between 1 -3 p.m , on between 3 - 4:30 etc. Basically an on off sequence programming is what I was looking for. Keep up the good work.

5stars perfected app. Range was "SHOCKING" almost constantly.. Not once since I installed "Connection Controlled" have I had an issue.. Every star is earned. Excellent work. It would be ultimate if we got report pop up or something similar to show why my network was so slow and how the app fixed it, from developer! :) considering full control of my connection of my data is in your hands! Lol! I am not technically advanced in any way so it would be interesting to know..

I have increased my rating of this app to four stars in view of noticeable improvements. However a connection time of one or two minutes should be added. I think five minutes is too long. Do that and get five stars.

About this app

This application allows you to turn data connections (3G/WiFi) according to configurable time periods, and can also define a night time where you want to have no activity on the data network.

In this way, we can keep updated our smartphone applications (facebook, twitter, mail, etc...) but without requiring to be constantly connected to the network, consuming our data plan and draining the battery unnecessarily.

If you need to keep the connection alive for long, just turn off the service from the options and data connections remain active by default

IMPORTANT:
=========
It's a good idea to backup the configuration of APNs prior to using this application especially if the Android version is prior to 2.3 (search the market for backup apps)

To uninstall this application we recommend previously disable the service (from the configuration screen).
In this way, the phone will be exactly the same condition in which it was before install "Connection Controller".
Otherwise, it may be necessary to restore the APN configuration from an earlier backup.

If you find bugs or want to suggest improvements, please let me know and I will try to post a fix as soon as possible.

New features

Version 1.2
=============
* Bug fix related to activity scheduling
* Bug fix related to sleep mode
* Minor changes in preferences screen
* Now you can specify startup although the service is not currently active
* Added Portuguese language support

Coming soon: Night mode improvements
