About this app

EmRadDose was designed and developed to serve as a stand-alone calculator, for emergency dose estimations in operational conditions. It provides tools for the calculation of patient dose due to external dose irradiation, inhalation of radioactive substances and radioactive contamination of wounds. The calculators are designed to provide step by step guidance and explanations during the calculation process, so as to reduce the probability of errors. References to relevant literature as well as other relevant tools for emergency dose estimations are provided in the “Additional Resources - Bibliography” section that can be accessed from the app welcome page.
