About this app

This app provides a convenient tool for scientists to collect and record the tree structure

data on site. It records recorder’s name, field site number, tree species, tree height,

Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) and crown width, and the location (latitude and

longitude) of the tree either using a GPS unit or the GPS feature on the phone/android.

All the data collected by different users are saved in google fusion tables. The user can

view the data they recorded in Chrome, on the app, or on a map (by clicking the dot icon

on the map). All the recorded data by different users can also be displayed in scatter

plots.
