Does what it says and does it well

Useful app, with a nice set of tone functions. My only requests/suggestions would be to make the CTCSS generator output truly continuous in loop mode (or to add a separate continuous mode). Right now it glitches out every few seconds with a loud click which is irritating if you are using it on air. It would also be useful if the app would keep the device awake whilst tones are active.

The overall CTCSS output level seems low from this app compared to other comparable apps, even when the app and device volume levels are set to full. I I couldn't use it to access repeaters compared to other apps.

It's got the letters on the numeric Keys which is helpful like a standard telephone keypad. The adjustable tone settings only apply when playing back not when pressing the keys. Nice to have would be ability to use the keypad without making tones until everything's entered and then be able to send the tones all at once. The playback of the keys that I selected went too quickly because the default timing wasn't set, and only 3 out of the 10 keys I pressed were sent during playback.

CTCSS volume now much louder.

No ads, nags, or in-app purchases. No internet connection required. Fully functional offline DTMF generator app.

Official DTMF pad of RFinder Android Radio https://androiddmr.com

Version 1.1.18+ includes support for encoding CTCSS tones 67.0 Hz to 254.1 Hz. Tap CTCSS button to turn CTCSS on/off. Tap again to loop CTCSS in the background. Long click to select CTCSS frequency. CTCSS volume adjustment is included for noisy environments.

This app will give you a 16 tone DTMF (Dual-tone multi-frequency) keypad plus a 1750Hz tone burst button for use with European repeaters, and the ability to generate custom DTMF sequences as well as set the duration and tone/silence ratio. Additionally, 52 CTCSS tones are included.

Included are the characters 1234567890*#, the AUTOVON tones ABCD, plus a 1750Hz button for European repeaters. You may enter a custom sequence via the keypad, soft keyboard, or speech if your device already has speech-to-text capability.

To clear the DTMF sequence, tap and hold the DTMF button. Use the Mute button to silence the keypad during programming. Use a period as space in the sequence.

If entering a string consisting of letters, please use lower case to prevent confusion with the AUTOVON priority tones ABCD. Other capital letters will be treated as pauses. For example, the string "DTMF" will be interpreted as AUTOVON "D" with three trailing pauses, whereas "dtmf" will be equivalent to "3863".

Add/Delete/Overwrite DTMF strings and settings:
To add an entry, enter the DTMF string and set other parameters. Hold the top message to save.
To delete an entry, recall the string and try to save it again. Hold the top message to delete.
To overwrite an entry, recall the string and edit parameters. Tap the top message to overwrite.

This app will work in both portrait and landscape modes. To manually set portrait or landscape, hold the Mute button to override the sensor orientation. Restarting the app returns it to sensor orientation.

This is basically a touch tone telephone keypad, which may be of interest to amateur ham radio repeater operators, phreakers, preppers, and survivalists. If your radio or microphone does not have DTMF or CTCSS/PL tones, then you can use this app instead.
