Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Behind the Barcode on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Rare app! Works great. Store your own info on barcodes that always say "item not in inventory" on local store apps, so you can finally have quick access to your saved information on missing inventory barcode items, so that you don't have to keep looking up the same info for customers all the time. Technically the Load button, works to load or as a scan for a new item.
