This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Light Meter on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

Always have a light meter on hand with this useful app. Smartphones these days have very powerful sensors. One of these sensors is a photodiode, which this app uses to measure illuminance on any surface. This light meter can measure illuminance in luxes (lx), foot-candles (fc) and even phots (ph).

Lighting designers will appreciate how this app allows them to quickly verify min-max light levels on site. By walking by each room and taking measurements you can tell how even the light distribution is in a room.

For activities where mental focus and attention to detail is needed, it is very important to make sure that illuminance levels are correct for each work surface. This app allows you to quickly determine if these levels meet the required standards.
