This app pays attention to standard values and tells the user if they have entered a non-standard value. When you go to buy a resister you are generally offered standard values only. The number of standard values increases as the tolerance gets smaller. While the app calculates standard values it cannot take a raw value like 50 and covert it to the best standard value (47 for 10% and 20% resistors and 51 for 5% resistors). It is, however, possible to do this. I have not found an app that will. This app informs the user if a value is not standard. An improvement would be to calculate the best standard value. I have not found an app that will do this.

About this app

Allows you to calculate the color code by entering a resistance value

AVAILABLE FUNCTIONS:
- Resistances from 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 rings
- Sharing the resistance value

A check is performed on the correctness of the calculated resistance value and if not available for the selected series, it informs in which series it is possible to find it or it signals that the value entered does not exist on the market.

Instructions:
Select the Series of the resistance, then enter the value of the resistance, select the unit of measurement of the resistance, in this way the color code is calculated without having to touch the Calculate button. If you change the resistance value without changing the unit of measurement or the series, press the Calculate button.
