Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Safety Checkin on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Great app..one thing i like is its free😁 simple design.. Just one suggestion.. If its possible if same contact number tab for ask help and checkin option.. So that user will just click the ask help and checkin btn without setting up again 😊though it is easy use😊

About this app

Safety Checkin is an easy to use & fast to setup messaging platform. It allows sending of customisable text messages with location coordinates at a click of a button.

Safety Checkin could be used to send for help during emergencies or to checkin with your love ones & friends for them to know that you're safe.

Text messages are sent in two modes - "panic/help" mode & "checkin" mode. Each with a different set of recipients. Location coordinates are sent as a link & opens in Google Maps for navigation.

In the "panic/help" mode, Safety Checkin shall not wait for the location coordinates to be locked before the text message is be sent. It shall send another text message with coordinates as soon as location lock is made.

In the "checkin" mode, when the location lock has not been established, Safety Checkin shall ask whether to send the message without the coordinates or wait until the location is lock before sending the message.

Please make sure that Safety Checkin to make sure location lock is established & the text message successfully sent.

Safety Checkin works best with phones that run on Android OS 2.3 (Gingerbread) or higher.
