Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Talk2List on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

So cool! I love this list maker ... Very simple to use. All you have to do is talk to it. Google voice will even read it back to you - great for when I don't have my glasses, or I am driving and don't want to take my eyes off the road.

About this app

This simple list maker is ideal for people who have difficulty reading small text, or typing on a smart phone. With this app, you never have to type - just press the microphone icon, and start talking. Talk2List will automatically translate your words in to text, and add them to your list.

To hear your list, just tap the speaker icon, and Talk2List will recite your list items back to you.

When you are at the grocery store, do you have trouble reading labels or price tags? Talk2List can help! Tap the Magnifying Glass, point your device at the label, and pinch or zoom till you can see the text.

When you are done, tap Delete to clear the entire list, or tap a single item to delete just that line.

Simple to use, and very discrete. Great for making shopping lists, and daily “to do” lists. This tool is ideal for anyone who is visually impaired, has limited motor skills, or simply has no time for paper lists. (Also great for those of us that just hate wearing reading glasses!)

(Note: In order to save your list even after you close the app, Talk2List requires access to usb storage / wifi or network connection required to use google voice. If your device doesn’t have text to speech capability, you may be prompted to download google voice)
