Have you ever wanted to have have easy access to relevant news, weather, and general information on any topic at your fingertips all accessible with the help of your own personal Genie. Well look no further as this application has all of these features and is available free for a limited time. It is currently free for you to use and all we ask in return is to spread the word to your friends and family so they can also experience what it means to have a personal information Genie by their side at all times.

News-Genie has four powerful features that we have included:

Location Aware Weather Forecast: Clicking on the weather button retrieves the latest weather forecast from the national weather service. This feature automatically retrieves your current phone location by using phone GPS coordinates or an internet connection to approximate your location. As such, either an location or internet connections must be present for this feature to work properly.

Customized Popular News Feed: Timely news is important and clicking the news buttons allows your to hear a customized news feed from over 30 of your favorite news sources. By default news will be streamed from Google News, but you can select any news feed that you want to listen to by opening the options screen and select and news source you would like.

Artificially Intelligent Genie: Have you ever had the urge to look up anything in an encyclopedia with virtually unlimited amount of information. Well now you can with the Ask Genie Anything AI feature. Clicking on the Ask Genie Anything button will activate voice recognition and wait for a command.

Some examples of what can be asked is the following:

* Ask Genie [Topic Noun] - you can speak any topic that you would like News Genie to look up for you on the internet. Genie will think about your topic and once your voice is understood, Genie will begin to scour the internet Genie for the topic you requested. Genie will find most topics and tell you everything about it. If a topic cannot be found as Genie is still learning you should refine your topic and ask again. Over time the Info Genie AI feature will improve and will be able to interface with other data sources to answer any questions you can think of.

* Send To Display [Phrase] - As a bonus we are providing a feature to sends a word or phrase to an Arduino controlled LED Matrix Display. Instructions on building a LED Matrix along with Arduino Sketch code written in C will be provided on the https://www.instructables.com/ site for all interested in building it themselves. Using Genie does not require a display, but to use this command the app should be connected to a display over bluetooth. After Genie processes your message, it will scroll across he LED matrix display continuously until another phrase is requested.
