It keeps switching by itself to night mode. Its annoying. And it is really difficult to open the menu to change it back as for it doesn't respond. I deleted it and downloaded it again. Hopefully it works better. Overal a very good app

I'm using this as my one unified book reader now. I would like to see the title sorting modified to ignore "The" or "A" as the first word of titles, I believe there is metadata available to support this, based on my use of other readers with my Calibre library of books. This reader has a feature set that is just right for me and my Nexus 7.

Some people may not know how to actually get to the library. You do that by tapping word library that's highlighted in blue

About this app

OpenBook is an e-book reader. OpenBook supports ePub and fb2 file formats. If you have any files in supported formats (epub, fb2, txt …), just put them into “Books” directory on the memory card, books will be available in the library. Network library contains a large set of e-books you can download for free or for a fee.

Preferences Dialog allows you to customize OpenBook to suit your taste: colors, fonts, various directories, page turning options, etc. Shake to switch day/night mode. To turn pages swipe screen horizontally or use hardware volume keys.

OpenBook's Menu allows you to navigate through libraries and to control the application. If your device has no hardware Menu button, touch bottom-center part of the screen to run menu.

OpenBook is a branch of FBReader, but smaller and add some new features (such as shake and search), also free and open source.
