I have tested numerous our apps, and this one simply does the best job. It still makes its fare share of mistakes, but I give it 5 stars on relative basis.

Finally got Arabic OCR working but not very powerful. Requires that text have no diacritics and wherever dots come it makes it part of the letter.

Lighweight UI,, different recognition languages, not bad recognition rate. Except it's better to extend selection rect from sides instead center and original text block indents could be retained by separating text blocks with newlines
