I am using it with non rooted vivo Y81 and Omnia player. This app really enhances audio quality. The developer already made it clear, it will give the best results only in rooted devices. But he believes, as per customers reviews, it can improve audio on non rooted devices also. Like me most of us hesitate to root our devices. So the result is limited. If we want to enjoy full pro features then get medium budget phone and root it and install pro version ,enjoy full features.

I purchased this app for my Fiio M11pro, which is a non-rooted device. Although using dumpsys media.audio_flinger does not show information on 32 bit/384khz processing granted but the sound quality has improved a lot. Hope soundmod may be installed on on-rooted devices with later updates. Thank you for this great app.

This is the unlocker to the other options. Well worth it! Sounds great on a audio feature limited Razor phone 2 that for some reason does not support aptx Bluetooth codecs. A must have for audio lovers wanting to stream at higher quality.

Works on my LG V20 B&O Play & Sony Z5 Premium...both non-root...sounds pretty good on both phones...for non-rooted phones, this one is the best modded compare with noozoide. Pair it with UAPPro...awesome...dac still works..thanks, dev...keep it up😄

I have a rooted nexus 6p and I bought the pro version of this app. It doesn't matter what setting I use there isn't any difference between this app and the stock audio. If you're going to down load the app just go with the free version. I can't recomend anyone pay for it. If the developer sees this review I would love a refund.
