It's no real-time (must refresh) and need to set public rules and don't think you're protected when you set an value in database to access from this app cause still any other app can do and "this app" is capable to read it already to verify it as an example! plus its UI is poor slowly and not good to manage a "database" of firebase .. I just downloaded this app to see what you did there to compare it with my project, I'm no like it~

I'm not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews. Works fine, as long as you set read permission on firebase console.
