Excellent app, very user friendly Mashallah. Did have to update the day two or three times, to get an accurate prayer time for my location. This app even show where you are by address. The compass is fairly accurate and much larger and precise than the Khudaam app (sorry Khudaam, but that's the way it is). This app even shows sun's position on the compass. Well done.

Why do I need to have my GPS on in order to use this app? It is so ridiculous that this doesn't even open if I don't have my GPS on. Please add a feature to not have to activate it and use postcodes instead. It surely can't be that difficult!

About this app

The Salat times of the 5 daily prayers are calculated for the location obtained by your GPS. Also calculates the Qibla direction relative to true north and also relative to the sun. A choice of 5 different Adhans to be used as alarms for each of the 5 Salat times. Each Alarm time can adjusted +/- 100 minutes from the current Salat time.

Each Salat's alarm time is set by adjusting it's slider. A click on Reset will bring the slider back to the middle - i.e. the zero position which is the Salat time. A long press on the Reset button will set all the sliders to the middle

The user is presented with 4 user options for Fajr and Ishaa calculation methods. The 80/90 Mins option has been developed under Khalifatul Masih IV (may Allah strengthen him) instructions that if in a location there is twilight, then Fajr angle is 90 minutes before sunrise. If there is no twilight then set the Fajr angle as 80 minutes before sunrise. There is a limiting latitude of 55.87 degrees, above which if there is no twilight then the timings are calculated for location at latitude 55.87 degrees.

Other options are also available for other locations, and these are for calculation of Fajr and Ishaa times at sun being 18 degrees (astronomical twilight), 16 degrees or 12 degrees (nautical twilight) below the horizon.
