Once I have used ES File Explorer which was very efficiant with custumized colours of folders. But unfortunatly it was removed from the Play Store. Later on I have tried all most all file explorers and finally I have fixed with this. It should be devoloped for stlye of folders, order of folders and customized colours of folders.

Pretty spiffy. Lets me navigate directories that the default file browser won't even show. Has options to jump to recent files or type of files. Sort and search. I suspect that with root privileges, this file browser would show even more of what's on the device.
