This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Hide Photo -my Secret Pictures on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

Hiding your photos has never been easier :
Open my Secret Pictures, enter your pin code access, tap the "public gallery button", choose the photo you want to protect from spying eyes, tap the "Lock button", and ... Voila ! Your picture is now securised.
My Secret Pictures uses a unique method of image encryption that replaces the original image with a noisy one which totally masks your private photo.
To watch your encrypted photos : tap the "secret gallery button", choose a protected picture, the original image will be decrypted and displayed.

Features - Free or full version :
- Protection of the application by PIN code (at 1st launch you set your PIN. To update it : type the old PIN code followed by the new PIN code and confirm.)
- Select photos in the public gallery
- Unique Encryption makes secured photos unreadable in the public gallery. Protected pictures are stored in a dedicated folder (named mySecretPictures)
- Zoom, rotation capabilities, pinch to zoom...
- Choose to keep or not the original photo
- Delete encrypted pictures
- Designed for both phone and tablet

Features - Full version only:
- 3 errors in the pin code: the intruder is caught on camera (if frontal camera is available)
- Take private photo or selfie in app (if camera is available) to directly encrypt
- Decode and restore photos in the original album (if present in the device, otherwise, in a dedicated folder named "RestoredPictures")
- Choose the size of the encrypted image: original size for storage or scaled for sending mail
- Sharing function: storage or sending locked pictures
- Decrypt pictures encrypted with mySecretPictures on another device (eg. picture received by email)

Limitation of the free version:
- Only 9 pictures in the secret gallery
- Can not take private photos
- Can not decrypt encrypted pictures with another device
- No sharing function
- Not sending mail
- No choice of the size of the encrypted image
- No restoration of an encrypted image
