Simple to quickly move files to and from your phone. Load it on both, choose a file, click and done. No extra configuration, it just works. The design, ease of use and reliability makes this app more like an Apple app than android. This is how all apps should be. On the Mac just open Finder, select the file, drag and drop it on the Filedrop window and it transfers to your phone's downloads folder. On the phone click the images or files icon, select the file and it transfers to the Mac downloads folder.

Mac to phone transfer is a simple drag and send affair but there is no easy way of picking which files to send from phone to mac, because not only does it not show up in the android share menu but also there is no file picker option inside the app. It just shows you a list of 10,11 recent files to pick from. I guess this is a limitation of iOS that they have carried forward to android.

Nice idea, but it needs a human presence on each device in real time and you can't just Share from any app, you have to have the app open on PC and Mobile device. It's easier to attach a USB cable to do bulk transfers and use Dropbox or similar for individual files.

Great, except I can't find the files I just transferred! This happened last time too, except now I can find those ones. I need to open Filedrop and click the files one by one to use them if I want to. I see it downloaded my previous transfer to a Download folder, but its not there. Where is it, and why can't my file manager find it but yet I can use it?

Other apps should work as great as this one. If you transfer files between your devices as much as I do this is the only app you need. So simple, NOT. Now that I have used it and found that I can't find the transferred files to the phone from the PC, ain't so great. Cuz it looks like if you uninstall filedrop every thing goes with it and that sux.

It would be better if you add the option to make FileDrop run in the background in Android, so you can share files without the need to run the app. Also, it would be better if you guys add a shortcut to add files via Right Click (ShellEx) on Windows or make a small transparent box on the bottom right corner of the screen so you can drag and drop files and transfer them to my phone. One more thing, It would be nice if you add an option where you can change the default location for received folder. Otherwise, the app is perfectly fine. Simple and Fast.
