The documentation text is a little too small, but thankfully pinch-zooming works. For most functions there's an example program linked to at the very top of the documentation page, something that I wish was more obvious. Overall an excellent program, but I've not quite figured out how to do certain things in it yet... I'd like to perform the matrix math for arbitrary RGB↔XYZ colorspace conversions, and then apply them to an image - but it seems to be rather tedious to implement that sort of math. It also seems to crash quite often, especially when handling large images. Image selection alone often seems to hang, but usually doesn't if I just give it more time. Still, sometimes an operation causes a long hang that eventually recovers, but then other times the same exact operation will just crash the whole program. I'd really like to give 3.5 stars, but obviously I can't. Because of the confusing interface, combined with the semifrequent crashes, I have to only give it a 3 and not a 4.

Amazing imaging tool for geeks, steep learning curve, but very very powerful...

About this app

There are several powerful cutting edge graphics and computing and mathematics libraries out there, most are only available to programmers, even for them its a chore to combine there functionality into a single program. So I decided to change all that, I collected together a bunch of the best and combined them all into a single program with a consistent user interface and some powerful additions of my own creation.
First a warning, the usability of the program is directly linked to the amount of RAM on your device. I strongly recommend at least 2 Giga Bytes, even then it might crash if you try to handle many or large files.
If you want to Edit or Create Pictures, Visualize Ideas Objects or Data, or perform Calculations or do Algebra this program may be for you.
Available techniques include Freehand Drawing, Vector Graphics, Image Adjustments, Filters and Effects, Interactive 3D Models and Ray Tracing, Algebra and Arbitrary Precision Arithmetic.
Uses may include, Photo Editing, 3D Modelling, Image and Video Clip Analysis, Data Tabulation, Test Data generation, Numerical Analysis, Algebraic Manipulations, Text Editing, Equation Rendering, Web Page Generation, etc. etc.
There are about 900 different functions drawn from these Libraries Image Magick, Open CV, VTK, Pov-Ray, Maxima and Ginac plus Tables and Text Editing due to Qt, Equation Rendering by MathJax, and complex expression parsing due to the Mu-Parser which I have extended in many directions.
There is an extensive Help system, access it using the Back button on your device. Some of the links in the Help files lead to other pages, and others load one of more than 850 examples into CZimps.
Please Note a degree of computer literacy, and some programming skill is needed to get the most out of this program.
Many of the Libraries that the program uses are released under a GNU Public Licence (GPL), to comply with this licence the source code and/or binaries I used are available to you, please read the About page in the Help files for details.
To the developer, once you manage to get Qt set up on your system and the project files to compile, I see no reason why the program should not be extended to include more functionality from the included libraries, and/or additional functionality added from elsewhere, a small C++ class, with a standard set of functions is used for Function settings and to link to the appropriate library.

New features

Minor improvements, bug fixes and typo corrections. Added Random Access functions to load and save tables.
