I initially doubted this app when it asked for photo gallery and storage permission. Allowed with data off. It showed 10 options for my Samsung AC after many tries found number 9 was working. Though not all functions are there but it is ok for me to on/off and set the temp without serching for actual remote.

I kept on trying the test remotes. Nothing worked. I did a test, I chose some random brand I've never heard before and somehow it detected the model. Idk how. I'm reporting.

Worked on my LG AC. Used remote number 8. Just I thing is lacking and that is fan speed control. I can just switch on and off my AC thats it.
