App requires permission to location even when in background. Even though I have no rule that requires location, the error says I do, and won't run w/o access to location. I paid for this app when it didn't need location unless you used it.

Love the app, though as with all such apps, as Android tightens security the options available become less and less. 2025-01-18 The last update, which I got just over a week ago, seems to have resulted in regular crashes, despite saying it's to fix crashes. However, my phone got the January security patch around then too, so hard to be sure which is causing the issue. Either way, no rules have fired since.

I was optimistic when I saw the most recent update. While it does fix something, when trying to restore or backup to dropbox a second time fails. App constantly crashes as well. I really enjoyed this app, but given the slow/lack response from the developer. I put this app on a burner device and i found a new automation app for my daily driver and tablet. It's too bad because again, when this app worked 100% it was solid. I used it for years. π

Cannot figure out how to down load all the missing plug inside. Has worked perfectly for the past 5 or 6 years, now nothing works.

Well, it was pretty awesome until the last update. Something happened and now I have a red banner across the top that indicates permissions are needed. There is a blue button that says fix it but it does not do anything or tell you what the permissions are that are needed. I went to the app settings on my Galaxy s22 and there are no permissions that are denied the app. Pretty much useless now. I closed the app and cleared cache, restarted my phone but no change.

Screen brightness actions on redmi note 9t are unreliable. Setting any brightness level works for one second then it automatically changes to virtually 0 brightness. Can't use the app for time based brightness.
