忘れ去られた子と呼ばれる、不幸な少年少女を主人公にし、死神隠しと呼ばれる子供を規制にする死の儀式を行う悪の王を打倒するまでのストーリーです。そのおとぎ話の様なストーリーは、暗い境遇の中でも強く生きる少年たちのたくましい姿を描きます。そして生きる上での教訓も沢山ちりばめられています。

■戦略＋戦術を楽しむ
『チームワークと戦略が勝利の鍵だ』
各ステージでは、個々のマスの戦闘成績に応じてすごろくやボードゲームの様に進行し、すごろくのサイコロの代わりに戦闘の進め方によって大きな戦闘の流れがどんどん変化していきます。
戦闘自体もコマンド入力型の戦闘システムで、どの技をどの相手にぶつけ、SP（スキルポイント）の残量がどの程度になるかを常に頭に入れながら戦う必要があります。
パーティー編成はもちろん。ユーザー配置や装備する武器や防具などこだわりポイントを多数収録しています。
