You can only set your speed in whole 1 MPH/KPH increments so for example, you'd have to increase your speed from 7 mph to 8 mph rather than to 7.1 MPH

Look no further, this is what you are trying to find and you won't find it
elsewhere. GPS pacer which beeps and/or vibrates (AWESOME for using with
that chinese Android watch) when going too slow. Nothing more. If you could
set the pace in min/km or use decimals it would be absolutely perfect. I
would pay for that, $1/month would be totally reasonable. If the developer
still reads this: there is still no other app on Google Store which will do
this. Invest in it or sell it!

It is fine if you are running a whole number speed, but if you need say 6.5 mph it's difficult. I even tried converting it to km/h and m/s but none can give me exactly what I want.
