This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Sentinel Scout on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Scout is an application that aids in on campus safety for institutions using the Sentinel system.

It provides an intuitive interface that allows users to document the wellness of themselves and others, helping individuals contribute to their own safety and health within an organization.

The Scout App is developed in partnership with the Sabeti Lab (https://www.sabetilab.org/).

What data do we collect?

+ Diagnostics reported through the application based on your sharing settings
+ Contacts added within the application
+ Attestation and other questionnaire information collected through the application

Scout collects this data so that we can improve Scout to match your needs. We do **not** sell or share data with other companies other than your school or other institution that has partnered with us to provide Sentinel services.

Scout does not currently support accounts for people outside the registered partner institutions.
