Nice app. Setup was simple and suggested foods Are right inline with my needs as an esrd patient. Remember that no food is perfect. To set a year, tap the current year at the very top of the calendar window and scroll to the year you want entered.

i put in the registration that the diet was for ckd level 4 with high potassium and many of the recipes contain food items to be known for having high potassium.

Was really excited about finding this app to help with menu planning but after reviewing some of the recipes I was very disappointed to see how many recipes contain foods that are prohibited or discouraged by EVERY kidney disease organization I have reviewed. Someone really needs to review these recipes.

On the grocery items, almost all were frozen products. Those are usually loaded with sodium, phosphorus, and potassium. All are horrible for dialysis patients. Please get a dietician to give us tips on the best protein products etc.

Needs a disclaimer that not all foods list their potassium and phosphorus. It could cause a patient to think they are consuming less than they actually are. After Trying it I chose not to recommend it because I thought it could be dangerously misleading. Davita does have disclaimer when potassium or phos not listed for a food
