2017 가을 강경포구에서 맛있는 젓갈의 맛과 행복, 사랑으로 가득합니다.

강경포구는 우리나라 굴지의 내포항으로 서해 해산물과 교역량이 많아 한 세기 동안 영화를 누리던 곳으로 평양, 대구와 함께 전국 3대 시장의 하나였습니다.

그러나 호남선 철도의 개통과 육상교통의 발달로 쇠퇴하기 시작하여 옛 명성과 영화를 잃고 소도읍으로 전락되어 희미해져버린 강경의 명성과 지역 상권을 되살리고자 지난 1997년 제1회 강경젓갈축제를 시발점으로 조그맣게 시작한 축제가 이제는 문화체육관광부 지정 최우수축제로 선정되는 축제로 발전하였습니다.

축제장에 오시면 전통과 현대가 어우러진 멋진 공연을 볼 수 있고 다양한 젓갈을 시식할 수 있습니다. 또한 남녀노소 누구나 참여할 수 있는 여러 가지의 체험행사와 어디에서도 느낄 수 없는 훈훈한“인정”과 “덤”문화를 보실 수 있습니다.

가족과 함께 저녁노을이 아름다운 강경둔치에서 은은한 국화향기를 맡으면서 가을의 정취를 만끽하시기 바랍니다.
