Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Mole Mapper on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

I really like this. It's a great app. It makes me feel confident that I can keep myself checked between my yearly dermatologist visits. Considering I am a hypochondriac, that is saying something. And I also like the idea that you have the option of participating in a study.

About this app

MoleMapper is a personalized tool to help you map, measure, and monitor the moles on your skin. Using a familiar Maps-like interface, you can measure the size of a mole using your camera and a common reference object like a coin.

If you are 18 or older, MoleMapper gives you the option to participate in a research study in partnership with researchers at OHSU.

Keeping track of the size, shape and color of your moles is the the best way to catch potential skin cancers like melanoma in their early stages. Whether you use MoleMapper to keep track of a single suspicious, mole over time or construct a full-body map, we hope this app will make being vigilant about your health a bit more enjoyable.
