I love the Y and I've been a member for nearly six years. It's a wonderful community when you actually take the time to engage. But the pool reservation system is a disaster. People constantly sign up and drop out at the last minute without any thought about their fellow swimmers. There are at least 5 changes a day and there should be repercussions for such inconsiderate behavior.

This app never works properly. I have installed and uninstalled it several times in the hopes that a refresh would make the app work. It does not open even when prompted by its own notifications. And those notifications are infrequent and are often delayed. When an app is going by a first come first serve basis it's important that it not be delayed. The customer service for this app is garbage they are unresponsive and not at all helpful.

The app was working fine but now when a waiting list opening alert banner pops up on my screen, nothing happens when I click on it. This means I can never get a waiting list spot. This is happening on both an older Android and a brand new Android. Please help or fix the glitch. It started ten days/two weeks ago. (as of april 6 2021) Before that, when I clicked on an banner i went directly to the "Join" function within the app. Now either nothing happens or I get a Google error message.

Messages when you are trying to book swimming spots are not useful and can be confusing. The process probably rewards those members who have very fast internet speeds. I suspect lopsided bookings with many members rarely getting swim spots.

Waaay too difficult to make a reservation., as I'm sure you've heard from SEVERAL complainants. Sometimes before you even get a chance, it goes immediately to, "full". I mean, immediately!!!

I get alerts that a lane is open but when I click on the link there are no spots and I'm still on the waiting list. thank you!
