Love the concept, but it can be fairly glitchy. I wish there was a way to hide apps on the home screen during detox. A lot of system apps don't work properly unless the app is selected, but the settings functions aren't something I want cluttering up my home page. Another common problem is that apps don't open correctly. When I click on an app, it will often open the previous app rather than the one I selected. A test section would be useful to preview a detox and ensure it works like expected.

Alll are good. It is saving a lot of time for me. Few things can be better, like 1. allowing more than one customizable preset. 2. Expose them in widgets or shortcuts so it can be used with MacroDroid or other automatic tools. 3. The allowed apps settings is really confusing and when I use it from quick launcher short cut it doesn't take what I have selected but takes the first one in the list. 4. Allow mixed option for the quotes shown, custom and also what u guys have as presets.

This app is good, but I found a way to bypass this app🤦‍♂️ restating your phone will let you kill the app and your phone will be back to normal. If the developer of this app is reading this, a option to enable this app during booting up would be nice so that even after you booted up your device this app starts automatically and thereby making this app full proof. But yeah app is kinda nice

This app has reduced my phone usage by literally 90%. I keep it unlocked for only 2 hours and the system is great. The new updates that delay app loading are also very useful. Would change just one thing- don't automatical open the app on unlock. Just another loophole that can I'm sure developers can block. Edit: it has been years since I've been using this app and it has truly transformers into a great app. Applaud the devs for the new updates - phone background, clock, long press to use break

I like this app very much but the latest update has made the app worst. In previous version during calls we can use the blocked apps , that problem is addressed by the latest version. But the latest version app getting crashed easily while touching twice on app settings. And scheduled detox is not working at all.please rectify those problems.try to provide checklist kind of day selection option in schedule detox. It would be helpful. Thank you

I have been using this app for a while now. Loved it and used it daily. However after the recent update, the detox mode turns off automatically and I am able to operate my phone. Please look into this. I use oneplus 3. The app after 15min, forgets any challenge I take up.

Accessibility Service

In order to effectively block you from using the addictive and distracting apps the "Digital Detox" app may ask you to enable its Accessibility Service if you decide to use the cheating protection features. We use this service only to block you from leaving an ongoing Detox without paying an accountability fee or using a quit code (the cheating). We do not use the service to collect any personal information.

See how the use of Accessibility Service works in Digital Detox:
https://youtu.be/XuJeqvyEAYw

Device Admin

If granted by the user, "Digital Detox" app may use the Device Administrator permission to (and only to) prevent users from cheating - make uninstalling of the app during an active Detox harder.

New features

- Better support for pending purchases when Quitting a detox
- Menu drawer redesign
- Norwegian translation
