Took me only 3 seconds to realize how ridiculous this app is. I'm a male over 6ft tall and it told me my ideal weight is 165lbs and that I'm borderline obese. I haven't weighed 165 since I was in JH. I would look like a skeleton at that weight. This is unhealthy.

Great app to use if you are trying to stay healthy or trying to lose some weight. Super easy to use to keep track of your BMI. Also shows you if you're in a healthy range & your ideal weight. Helps to motivate me to reach my goals. Love this app.

Calculating BMI without body composition, or at least a lean body mass indication doesn't do a lot. Add a Katch-McArdle or Harris-Benedict method to get at least a somewhat meaningful outcome. Your app tells me I'm close to obese based on 98kg and 183 lenght. (Yes, I work out regularly) Doesn't add up, since my lean body mass currently is about 86kg. That's under 20% body fat! It could definitely give the wrong signal for certain body ectomorphic/endomorphic types.
