I'd call this app "abysmal" but it doesn't really reach that level. This app should serve as a cautionary tale that if you're going to put an app out there (especially one with your name on it) at least make sure it works in some minimal fashion. I can see the need to enter age, height, weight, etc., but let me do it in terms I'm used to, do not force me to use metric measurements. This doesn't even get a "nice try".

If you want to use this app to track your workouts you cannot use the buttons on the machine to set up your workout, if you do the app won't track it. If I want to jump on the treadmill I have to use the app from the start and enter a time for the workout rather than just going without a time limit. I can't easily change workout routines either without using the app. The app is a good idea but poorly executed. Not user friendly.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the other ratings, I have experienced all of the issues mentioned by all the other reviewers. Multiple app crashes, once linked and program loaded in my elliptical complete shutdown mid workout, no connectivity with Fitbit, and will not run in the background. I have tried to use this app for quite some time hoping it would get improved, apparently there is no interest in getting it better.

Couldn't even create an account. The instructions that pop up are hilarious in that they say things like "account is exist" and errors with code in them. I tried to reset the account that apparently "is exist" but no email ever came...

Works about 50% of the time, defined by running and recording a full workout. As noted it freezes about half the time, leaving me no tracking/trending data for those workouts. Yes, I am listening to music thru my phone at the same time, but that should hardly be an excuse for your app crashing. For reference, I am using this on a top-line Moto, so definitely not a possible hardware issue.

Uploading workouts to apps like Fitbit does NOT work! If you're thinking about buying a SpiritFit product and the idea of uploading to an another app like Fitbit or MyFitnessPal please know that it will say "record failed!" ever time you try to upload it. I wish someone had told me this before I spent $1700 on an elliptical. There are other options out there where that app can do this seamlessly, and SpiritFit simply isn't one of them. The app also crashes frequently and you cannot change orientation. The reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the display during workouts is an improvement over the display in my elliptical. However, that display would do the job so this "improvement" is to the aesthetics, not the function.
